Hearing Appointment

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu

When M was 1 month old we found out that she lost her hearing moderately. But her left ear is severe lost. Masha Allah, she can hear very high pitch sound. Alhamdulillah since she was one and half years old, she is wearing the hearing aids to help her hear better.

Yesterday, M, F and me went to the Australian Hearing for reviewing M hearing. Usually the reviewing takes every 6 months. On the hearing test Masha Allah M tend to respond on some of the sound. Sometimes she moved her head to the sound but sometimes she blinked her eyes. Towards the end of the testing she did not respond well. May be she was tired.

Alhamdulillah, her right ear was clear and good, but her left one has some wax and negative pressure because she has a cold. Her audiologist, Michael, suggested to make her new mould as a back up. Here current one is a little bit loose. Masha Allah she is growing. Masha Allah she was so relaxed which made the assessments easy. We got some batteries for the hearing aids and made the next appointment. Her hearing aid is cleaned before we leave the place.

Salam LightNur,
One night, towards the end of an anxious second pregnancy, I dreamt that my baby was born with cerebral palsy. I was suffering from insomnia during that time but the five minute glimpse of what might have been frightened me to the core. Of course I prayed to Allah for a heallthy child and Alhamdulillah, he turned out to be a healthy baby.
I have so much respect for mothers who take care of their special children with so much confidence and faith. Prayers for all of your children!
