Oxygen Therapy

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu

Muja yawns a lot. Since she was born she yawns. She can yawn more than 20 times in a day before we started the oxygen therapy. She use to yawn until she can't close her mouth. Is this a sign that her blood is lacking oxygen?

Anyway this post is a short update on Muja hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The picture below is taken yesterday when Muja was in the oxygen gas chamber. What I notice is that once the pressure fills in the chamber Muja body is so relax and for sure her spasticity decreased, alhamdulillah. She would straighten her legs and open her fingers.

This picture is taken last year. Notice that her index finger of her right is sticking out on both picture like signing her shahadah. I just realised now. Maybe she learns how to do that since she start the oxygen therapy. See the pressure in that chamber help Muja to relax and it opens her fingers from a fist, masha Allah.

Most of the time her muscles is so hard and that makes her body curl like in the picture below. If she in in this position most of the time her muscles can be short and her bones can become deformed. It is so important to relax her muscles and the oxygen therapy is one way to do that.

I always pray to Allah that Muja's functioning will improve with the following outcomes
  • decreased spasticity,
  • improved speech,
  • increased alertness,
  • increased cognitive abilities,
  • and improved visual functioning.
Ameen.

By the way she is also prescribed by her homeopath, Kate, a homeopathic remedy call Carbo Veg 6 to increase oxygen in her blood 3 times daily.

With Allah's permission I am hoping that the hyperbaric oxygen therapy can benefit Muja and I ask Him to make this possible, Ameen.

It is so true how much we take for granted. Alhamdulillah, Allah All Mighty made me realised it after Muja was born four years ago. It make me more grateful though, alhamdulillah.

Ameen to your du'a and may Allah bless you sister Farhana.
