effort. truth. impact.
Assalamu alaykum! My name is Nur which means Light. That explains my blog name as Lightnur, I guess.
I am not a professional writer, therapist, philosopher or psychologist. I am just a full-time stay at home Muslim mother of six lovely children, five girls and a boy. I have two sons-in-law and no grandkid yet. Soon, Insha Allah.
I love to think about my life journey especially as a carer of my special needs daughter with cerebral palsy who has complex medical, developmental (motor and sensory challenge) and communication needs. And most importantly I love to share my thought with you.
I love being a student of the Qur'an and study Islam not only to improve my personal way of life but also to help me raise righteous children. I imagine living a life as a slave of the Most Merciful, Allah; to strive in this world for His Pleasure and to gain His forgiveness and mercy in the Hereafter.
I enjoy making soaps and skin care products from scratch in my spare time. My other interests including aromatherapy, alternative medicine, photography and DIY project.
This blog is about how the challenge of caring for my miraculous daughter connect me with God and how they positively impact my life. It is how I saw a miracle in her and my life is transforming into a world filled with emotions, struggles, celebrations and joy. Have you heard about Mujaheeda yet? No? Then check out the Miraculous Mujaheeda page.

Until next time, may God bless you.
