Walking Training

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu

This is M's walking frame. The Center for Cerebral Palsy lent it to us, Alhamdulillah. T, M's sister, loves pushing her along the hallway in our house. Sometime M moves her feet while T pushes her. Subhana ALlah, when T stopped pushing her, she made sounds. I assumed that she was thanking T for pushing her around. Then she made more sounds as she was asking for more pushing. T pushed her more. T enjoys riding on it while pushing it. Again when T stopped the pushing, M will thank her and ask for more by making noises and smiles. Masha Allah, may Allah reward T for training her sister walking and making her happy.

What I like about this walking frame is that it has a holding bar on it, Alhamdulillah. This bar helps M to hold onto it, so she can practising to balance herself. But once she lost her grip on the bar her body would fall to her side and lose her balance. This would remind me that the frame is only benefit for training her to walk, but not to leave herself on it after the training done. May Allah give M opportunities to walk one day even though Allah knows what's best for her.

Masha Allah M is showing her learning behaviour. For instance, when I stop after I sing with actions to her, she would ask for more by moving her mouth like she wants to ask for more. Masha Allah, occasionally she would make "mmm" voices. Subhana Allah, once she did that, I would Praise Allah for creating possibilities for her.
